Equipment:
metre-stick (graduated in millimeters) to make the measurements as accurate as possible.
stopwatch(that counts in 10th of a second) to give an accurate reading.
paperclips;to add weight to helicopter.
clamps(to hold the metre -stick in place) to make sure the meter stick doesn’t move or the test wont be accurate.
my hypothesis is that the more weight added to the helicopter the faster it will fall i will do this by adding one paperclip every time i drop the helicopter i will also weigh how heavy the paperclip is so i know how much weight im adding.
my dependent variable is what i will measure which is the time it will take for the helicopter to touch the ground.
the independent variable is what i will change which is the amount of paperclips i use to add weight to my helicopter.
Establishing Causality.
the reason that the helicopter will fall at different rates is because the paperclips add weight to the paper causingĀ the helicopter to fall faster.
